1983 V600-BS

The V600 is an Vintage series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1983. It was produced in Japan.

The V600 features a SS dreadnought or Folk body shape with spruce top on mahogany back and sides with black and ivory binding. The round soundhole is trimmed with black and white multi-line rosette and a tortoise shell pickguard. The mahogany neck with adjustable truss rod has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a True-tune saddle on a rosewood bridge, a bone nut, and chrome covered machine heads.

The V640 is a similar model with maple back and smooth tuner machine heads.

The V600 was discontinued after 1984.
