The V540 is an Vintage series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1982. It was produced in Japan.

The V540 features a jumbo body with flamed maple top and rosewood binding on tapered arched flamed maple back and flamed maple sides. The round soundhole has a black and white multi-line purfling with amber abalone ring rosette. The mahogany neck with adjustable truss rod has a 20-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard with sparkling pearloid snowflake position markers and white side dots. Components include a true-tune saddle in an ebonized rosewood bridge with white bridge pins, tortoise pickguard, a bone nut, and chrome smooth tuner machines heads.

The V500 is a similar model with spruce top, mahogany back and other finishes.

The V540 was offered only in 1982.
