The V500 is an Vintage series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1982. It was produced in Japan.

The V500 features a jumbo body with spruce top and rosewood binding on tapered arched mahogany back and mahogany sides. The round soundhole has a black and white multi-line purfling with amber abalone ring rosette. The mahogany neck with adjustable truss rod has a 20-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard with sparkling pearloid snowflake position markers and white side dots. Components include a true-tune saddle in an ebonized rosewood bridge with white bridge pins, tortoise pickguard, a bone nut and chrome smooth tuner machines heads.

The V540 is a similar model with flamed maple top and back.

The V500 was discontinued after 1983.
