The V390 is a Vintage series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1978. It was hand-made in Japan. It s part of the Vintage Deluxe line.
The V390 features a dreadnought body with solid spruce top on rosewood back and sides. The round soundhole is trimmed with black and white multi-line rosette and a tortoise pickguard. The mahogany neck with adjustable truss rod has a 20-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard with vine inlay position markers and a rosewood headstock. Components include a Tru-Tune saddle in an rosewood bridge, a bone nut, and chrome plated machine heads.
For 1982 the pickguard changed to a tortoise with floral ornate inlays.
The V360 is a similar model with pearloid soundhole rosettte and pearl dot fingerboard inlays. The V380 is a similar model with pearl-abalone rosette and pearl-abalone block fingerboard inlays.
The V390 was discontinued after 1982.
