1990 V280CLE-NT
V280CLE Natural Red copyright sprite

The V280CLE is a limited edition Vintage series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1990. It was produced in Japan.

The V280CLE features a dreadnought body shape constructed of a cedar top on nato back and sides. The round soundhole is trimmed with herringbone inlay rosette. The nato neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a plastic saddle on a rosewood bridge, a bone nut, and individual chrome machine heads.

Electronics consists of a piezo pickup with volume and tone controls located on the upper bout near the neck.

The V280CL and V282CL are related six and 12 string models.

The V280CLE was discontinued after 1990.
