Ultrasonic pickups
Ultrasonic pickups are a brand of magnetic guitar pickups developed and produced by Bill Lawrence in Germany. Ultrasonic pickups are passive pickups designed to have a very flat frequency response curve, without the mid hump delivered by most guitar pickups. Ultrasonic pickups were featured on some guitars in the Artfield and Maxxas series .
The pickups were produced for only a brief period (maybe six months) in the late 1980s.
