The UV71P is a seven-string Universe series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2015. It is a signature model of American guitarist Steve Vai. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line.

The UV71P features an American basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard-7 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with disappearing pyramid position markers. Components include DiMarzio Blaze pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Zero 2 double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut.

The UV70P is a similar model with different fretboard inlays and finish.

The UV71P was discontinued in 2017.
