The UKC10 is an UK series acoustic ukulele model introduced by Ibanez in late 2009. It was made in China.
The UKC10 features a concert ukulele body with a laminated sapele top on sapele back and sides with a low gloss finish. The round soundhole has no rosette. It has a mahogany neck with a 17-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include an ivory plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge, a plastic nut and Ibanez open gear tuning machines. A gig bag is included.
For 2015 the body material was changed from sapele to mahogany. For 2018 the top, back and sides were reverted to sapele, the rosewood fretboard was changed to purpleheart or treated New Zealand pine (depending on market), and the bridge was changed from rosewood to purpleheart or ovangkol. For 2019 the mahogany neck was replaced with okoume and the fretboard and bridge were standardized as purpleheart.
The UKS10 is a similar soprano model.
The UKC10 was discontinued after 2021. The similar UKC100 was introduced for 2022.
