The UICT10 is an UIC series acoustic/electric ukulele model introduced by Ibanez for 2019. It was produced in China.
The UICT10 features an Iceman-style tenor size ukulele body with a laminated spruce top on okoume back and sides with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has no rosette. It has an okoume neck with a 20-fret purpleheart fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in a purpleheart bridge, a plastic nut, and chrome Grover open gear tuning machines. Electronics consist of an Ibanez under saddle pickup connected to an AEQ2UT preamp with onboard tuner powered by a pair of coin cells, and a ¼" stereo output jack.
For 2021 the body length was very slightly increased. Three new finishes — Candy Apple, Metallic Gray Sunburst, and Midnight Metallic — were introduced in mid-2022, in markets outside of USA.
The UIC10 is an earlier concert size Iceman-style ukulele without any electronics.
The UICT10 was discontinued in all markets except Japan after 2022, and replaced by the similar UICT100 which is very similar but forgoes the round soundhole in the face of the instrument for a upward facing soundhole in the side of the body. It was completely discontinued after 2024.
