The UCGR Strung Out is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1990. It was produced in the United States as part of the Graphic Design series of the USA Custom line.
The "UCGR Strung Out" features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with sharktooth position markers. Components include a DiMarzio-made IBZ/USA F2 humbucking pickup at the bridge paired with IBZ/USA C2 single-coil at the neck position, an Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The image on this guitar, entitled "Strung Out" was handpainted and signed by Pamelina H.
This represents only the "stock" configuration, as customers could customize the guitar to their own desires. The customer could select the pickup configuration and pickups, the fretboard material and inlays, the headstock, the hardware color and more.
