The UCGR Streetwise is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1990. It was produced in the United States as part of the Graphic Design series of the USA Custom line. The Graphic Design models feature bodies which are handpainted by "some of the most skilled and imaginative artists in America".[1]
The UCGR Streetwise features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with white dots ( or "sharktooths" ) position markers. Components include a DiMarzio-made IBZ/USA F3 humbucking pickup at the bridge paired with IBZ/USA C2 single-coil at the middle and a IBZ/USA C2 single-coil at the neck positions, an Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
