Info1 Template information here
This is a documentation subpage for Template:Topimage. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template is an alternate version of {{Image}} with some parameters already filled out and a special parameter for the caption. It is used to create the primary image on guitar model pages.

Usage

Image-icon
Missing image (An image is wanted for this article. You can help by finding and adding it) Red copyright sprite

Topimage has three parameters: file, caption and more. If none of the parameters are filled out, it can be used as a placeholder similar to the Image missing template.

{{Topimage}}
gives --->
PGM100 JB
PGM100 JB.jpg Red copyright sprite

The file parameter is for the filename. If no caption is filled out, it is used as caption as well.

{{Topimage
|file =PGM100 JB.jpg
}}

gives --->

PGM100 JB
PGM100 JB Red copyright sprite

And with caption:

{{Topimage
|file    =PGM100 JB.jpg
|caption =PGM100 JB
}}

gives --->

PGM100 JB
PGM100 JB (more images) Red copyright sprite

Extra feature is the 'more' parameter. If it's used, a standard extra line is added to the caption referring to the other images within the article below the 'Images' heading.

{{Topimage
|file    =PGM100 JB.jpg
|caption =PGM100 JB
|more    =Foo
}}

gives --->

Any magic or non-magic word can be filled out to activate this, including 'Foo', 'Bar', and 'Yes'. This parameter should only be used if a guitar model pages actually has more than one image and the other images are below an 'Images' heading.

Changing the background

Like {{Image}}, Topimage has an extra parameter to change the background.

ARX120 BK
ARX120 BK Red copyright sprite

Some semi-transparent images don't look very good against a white background, note -->

Now with the bg parameter set to a matching color -->

{{Topimage
|file    =ARX120_BK.gif
|caption =ARX120 BK
|bg      =#A4A49B
}}

If more customization is required, the regular {{Image}} template should be used.
