The TV750 is a Talman series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1994. The Talman series is a retro-styled guitar reminiscent of the Fender Telecaster or a Danelectro.
The first generation of Talman guitars were assembled in Japan by FujiGen. The pickguard assemblies were pre-wired in Korea and dropped into bodies in Japan(*need citation). The other notable feature of the Talman TV series were the "Resoncast" bodies. Similar to vintage Danelectros, the manufactured composite gave the guitars a lighter weight and resonant body.
The TV750's resoncast body has a gravure quilt style top & back. A gravure birds-eye maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard is attached using the Ibanez all access neck joint (AANJ). Components include a Gotoh made TZ100 floating synchronized tremolo bridge and dual Sky humbucking pickups flanking a Sky lipstick-style single coil mounted over a sound cavity on a white pickguard.
This model was only sold in the USA. The TV650 is an identical model that was offered in Europe and Japan.
The TV750 was produced only for 1994.
