The TR505 is a five string TR series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1997. It was produced in South Korea by Cor-Tek as part of the Expressionist line.

The TR505 features a double-cutaway alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and black side dots. Components include a pair of Ibanez Power-tier pickups, a Die-cast 5 string fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a plastic nut, red tortoise pick guard, chrome hardware and die-cast machine heads.

The TR500 is a four string version.

The TR505 was offered only in 1997.
