1996 TR500-VB

The TR500 is a Deluxe TR series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1996. It was produced in South Korea by Cor-Tek as part of the Expressionist line.

The TR500 features a double-cutaway alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and white side dots. Components include a pair of Ibanez POWER-TIER pickups witn an active EQB-III preamp, a die-cast fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, a graphite nut,red tortoise pickguard and chrome hardware.

The TR500FL is a fret-less version. The TR505 is five string version. The TR600, TR300 and TR100 are related models.

The TR500 was discontinued after 1997.
