The TQM2 is an AZ series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in June of 2024. It is a signature model of English fusion guitarist Tom Quayle. It is produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.

The TQM2 features a 4mm thick flamed maple top on an alder body bolted to an S-Tech roasted maple oval C shaped neck with a rosewood fingerboard with a compound radium, 22 stainless steel frets, abalone dot position markers, and luminescent side dots. Components include specially developed pickups which are direct-mounted to the body with a humbucker at the bridge and single-coils in the neck and middle positions, a T1702B two-point synchronized tremolo bridge with titanium saddles made by Gotoh, an oil-impregnated bone nut, an angled output jack, and Gotoh locking tuning machines with height-adjustable posts.

The TQM2 employs a dyna-MIX9 switching system (see diagram below) with an "Alter switch" toggle which allows the user to access nine distinct tones. The Alter switch allows the player to access two modes with the single coils connected in series creating a tone similar to a second humbucker.

The TQM1 is a predecessor. The TQMS1 is another Quayle signature model based on the AZS series.
