The TMB505 is a five string Talman Bass series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It was made in Indonesia as part of the standard line.
The TMB505 features an asymmetric double-cutaway okoume body bolted to a roasted maple neck with a 20-fret roasted maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a pair of Nordstrand CND passive pickups mounted in a white pearloid pickguard with a Precision pickup at the neck and a Jazz pickup at the bridge, an Ibanez custom preamp with a two-band EQ, a B15W bridge with 18mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Ibanez open tuning machines.
The TMB500 is a similar four string model. Both models were discontinued after 2021.
