The TMB30 is a Talman Bass series solid body, medium scale, electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2016. It is made in Indonesia as part of the standard line.
The TMB30 features an asymmetric double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with 30" (762mm) scale a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Dynamix passive pickups mounted in a black pickguard with a Precision pickup at the neck and a Jazz pickup at the bridge, a B10 bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Ibanez open tuning machines.
For 2018 the rosewood fretboard was replaced with jatoba and the body material was changed from mahogany to poplar.
The TMB35 is a five string version introduced for 2020. The TMB100K is a similar model with a 2-band active EQ.
