The TC420L is a left-handed Talman series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1998. The Talman series is a retro-styled guitar reminiscent of the Fender Telecaster or a Danelectro.

The TC420L features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual covered Ibanez Powersound humbucking pickups and a synchronized tremolo bridge.

The TC420 is a right-handed version of this model.

The TC420L was discontinued after 1998 along with the entire Talman series of this era.
