The TAM100 is an eight-string solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2013. It is a signature model of guitarist Tosin Abasi of the American progressive metal band Animals as Leaders.
The TAM100 features a unique 5-piece neck of wenge and bubinga and a wenge fretboard with mother of pearl block inlays, DiMarzio inlays in an HSH configuration (with coil-tap of both humbuckers), and a double-locking fixed bridge. It is based on the RG2228. It debuted in 2013 in Japan and was available worldwide beginning in 2014.
The TAM10 is a related model produced at a lower price point.
