Signature series instruments are produced for Hoshino Gakki in partnership with an endorsing artist. They are generally designed in cooperation with or to the specs of the artist.
While some an artists have only a single signature model, but some artists such as Steve Vai, Joe Satriani or George Benson will have an entire range of instruments. For example, over fifty distinct signature models have been produced for Vai.
