The SZR720 is an SZR series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2008.

The SZR720 features a mahogany body with binding mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and special vine inlays. Components include a pair of Ibanez Neo-Z humbucking pickups mounted in rosewood pickup rings and a Gibraltar III fixed bridge with through-body string routing.

The SZR520 is a similar model with a flame maple top and dot fretboard inlays; it is the only other model in the SZR series.

Both SZR models were discontinued after 2009.
