The Ibanez SZ520QM is an SZ series guitar model introduced in 2003. Features include a mahogany body with quilted maple top, set-in mahogany neck and the Gibraltar III bridge created for the SZ series.

In 2005, the standard SZ pcikups were replaced by Duncan/Ibanez pickups, which are Seymour Duncan pickups specially made for the SZ series. In 2007 the SZ520QM got a visual update with new inlays. These 2007 models were only available in the US.
