The SZ520QM is an SZ series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2003. It was produced in South Korea by the World Musical Instrument Company.
The SZ520QM features a quilted maple top with binding on a mahogany body mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding. Components include a Gibraltar III fixed bridge with staggered through-body string routing and dual humbucking pickups mounted in pickup rings. The initial models had Ibanez SZ pickups; for 2005 these were replaced by Seymour Duncan designed Duncan/Ibanez pickups specially made for the series.
In 2007, the SZ520QM got a visual update with new inlays. These 2007 models were available only in North American markets.
