The SZ520FM is an SZ series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2006.

The SZ520FM features a mahogany body with a flamed maplet top mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret bound rosewood fretboard with special EKG-style "heartbeat" position markers. Components include dual humbucking pickups made by Ibanez and designed by Seymour Duncan with individual volume controls and the Gibraltar III fixed bridge. It has a staggered through-body stringing arrangement for superior tonal balance.

The SZ520QM is a similar model with a quilted maple top and different fretboard inlays. The SZ520CT is another similar model with different inlays and without the exotic top.
