SZ4020FM Charcoal Black Flat (more images) |
The SZ4020FM is a SZ series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2006. It is made in Korea by World as part of the high-end Prestige line.
Features include a neck-through-body construction with mahogany wings topped with flamed maple mated to a maple and walnut neck with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with a special SZ Prestige inlay at the 12th fret. Components include a Gibraltar Custom fixed bridge and a pair of humbucking pickups specially designed and made for the SZ series by Seymour Duncan.
It is a newer version of the SZ2020FM featuring a neck-thru construction instead of a set-in neck.
The SZ4020FM was discontinued after 2007.
