The SV5470 is an SV series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2010. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The SV5470 features a maple top with binding on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard HP neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and white dot position markers with special inlay at the twelfth fret. Components include Ibanez pickups with a pair of True Duo Blast humbuckers with a True Duo coil-split system flanking a Short Tracer single-coil, a SynchroniZR ball bearing pivot synchronized tremolo bridge with a ZPS-FX tuning stabilizer and Ibanez auto-trimming locking tuners which cut excess string as the locking clamp is engaged.
The SV5470 is similar to the SV5470A and SV5470F, but is sold at a slightly lower price point with a solid finish and no decorative top.
