The Soundgear Xtreme series, also referred to as the "SRX" series, was a line of solid body electric bass guitars produced by Ibanez. The SRX basses are the beefy siblings of the SR series. These models were created weighing aggressive playing styles in a no-nonsense layout.

The SRX series was first introduced in 2002 for the US market and the following year for the European market. It was an extension of the legendary Soundgear (SR) series, it included both four string and five string models fit with full-sized passive pickups, bolted necks, double-cut bodies and flat tops. The SRX line models were affordable and provided an amazing level of quality.

The SRX series was discontinued after 2015.
