The SRX505 is a five string SRX series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2002. It was produced in South Korea as apart of the Standard line.
The SRX505 features a double-cutaway basswood body with flamed maple top bolted to a laminated SRX5 maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a 205 fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, and two PFR-5 (Passive Full Range) pickups channeled through a 2-band EQ (EQB-IIDX), a plastic nut and Ibanez Die-cast tuning machines.
