The SRX355 is a five string SRX series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2006. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the Standard line. The sale began first in the European market for 2006 and continued in the US market the following year.
The SRX355 features a double-cutaway lightweight ash body bolted to a laminated maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a B105 fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, and two PFR-5 (Passive Full Range) pickups channeled through a 2-band EQ (EQB-IIDX), a plastic nut and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
For 2010 the bridge was changed to the Accu-Cast B205.
