The SRMS806 is a multi-scale, six string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2018. It is produced in Indonesia as part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop line.
The SRMS806 features a poplar burl top on a double-cutaway walnut and mahogany body bolted to a jatoba and walnut multi-scale neck with a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard with offset stadium position markers. Components include a pair of Bartolini BH2 passive pickups channeled to an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, individually mounted Mono-rail 5S bridges with adjustable 16.5mm string spacing, a plastic nut, and Ibanez tuning machines.
For 2019 the body walnut and mahogany was replaced with okoume.
The SRMS800 and SRMS805 are four and five string versions, respectively.
