SRMS5 Weathered Black

The SRMS5 is a multi-scale, five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2021. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.

The SRMS5 features a double-cutaway ash body bolted to a wenge and walnut multi-scale neck with a 24-fret wenge fingerboard with offset stadium position markers. Components include a pair of Nordstran passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, Mono-rail bridges with 16.5mm string spacing, a Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut, and Gotoh tuning machines.

The SRMS5 was discontinued after 2024.
