The SRMD200 is a solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2019 as part of the new Soundgear Mezzo series. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.
The Soundgear Mezzo or SR Mezzo series basses feature medium-scale 32" (812mm) necks.
The SRMD200 features a double-cutaway poplar body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Dynamix passive pickups mounted in a white pearloid pickguard with a Jazz pickup at the bridge and a Precision pickup at the neck and an Ibanez 2-band EQ, a B10 bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
The SRMD205 is a five string version. The SRMD200K is a similar model with a black pickguard. The SRMD200D is a similar model with a jatoba fretboard.
The SRMD200 was discontinued after 2024 with the entired Soundgear Mezzo series.
