SRGEX1 Weathered Black

The SRGEX1 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2015. It was a spot model which was produced in Indonesia and sold exclusively by Japanese musical instrument retailer Shimamura Musical Instruments Co., Ltd.

The SRGEX1 features a scuplted ash body with binding bolted to a hard maple 26½" scale Wizard III neck with a reverse headstock and a 24-fret wenge fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include direct-mounted, dual Seymour Duncan/ Ibanez humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge.

The SRGEX2 is a similar model with a nato body and rosewood fretboard.

The SRGEX1 was offered only in 2015.
