The SRG8570Z is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2022. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as a spot model in the high-end J Custom line which is available exclusively from Japanese retailer Shimamura Gakki.
The SRG8570Z features a 4mm thick AAA flamed maple top with flamed maple binding on an African mahogany body bolted to a titanium-reinforced maple and wenge neck with Velvetouch finish and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with flamed maple binding and a Tree of Life vine inlay. The headstock is finished to match the top. Components include an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS tuning stabilizer, DiMarzio pickups with Air Norton and Tone Zone humbuckers flanking a True Velvet single-coil, recessed Easy Access control knobs and Gotoh tuning machines.
The back is finished with white paint while the top features two different stain colors: a reddish-pink dubbed Rubelite and a blue called Hauynite.
The RG8570Z is a similar regular production model with a stained rather than painted back.
Only six examples of each finish of the SRG8570Z were produced.
