The SRG470FMZ is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2011. It was a spot model created for and sold exclusively by Japanese musical instrument retailer Shimamura Musical Instruments Co., Ltd. It was produced in Indonesia.
The SRG470FMZ features a mahogany body with a flamed maple top bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a single-coil in the middle flanked by two humbuckers, an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge with a removable "zero point system" tuning stabilizer and a barrel-style output jack (most non-Prestige Ibanez guitars have a plate mounted screw on jack).
The SRG420FMZ is a similar model without the middle pickup. The SRG450QMZD is a related model with a basswood body and quilted maple top and pickguard-mounted Seymour Duncan pickups.
