The SRA505 is a five string SRA series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2010. It was produced in China as part of the Standard line.
The SRA505 features a double-cutaway basswood body with quilted maple carved top bolted to a laminated SRA5 maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a B25 fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, and two EMG 40HZ active humbucker pickup's channeled through a EQB-IIIC 3-band EQ, a plastic nut and Ibanez Die-cast tuning machines.
The SRA500 is a realated four-string model. The SRA550 is a similar four-string model with abalone oval inlays. The SRA555 is a similar model with abalone oval inlays.
