The SR990QS is Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1999. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as a limited edition model.

The SR990QS features a quilted sapele top on a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a wenge and bubinga SR4 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone oval position markers and a black flat headstock. Components include a pair of custom IBZ AFR pickups on the bridge and neck positions with an Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ,AccuCast B20 fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing; Controls are volume, balance, treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut, mid range boost/cut, mid range frequency includes a black plastic nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
