SR924PD Natural (more images)

The SR924PD is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1988. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.

The SR924PD features a neck-through-body construction with arched top padouk wings attached to a maple and walnut neck with an ebony veneer headstock and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with an off-set oval mother of pearl position marker at the 12th fret. Components include an HB-4 fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a pair of DiMarzio-made IBZ/USA C1 P/J passive pickups, a plastic nut, gold hardware, and Gotoh tuning machines.

The SR924 is a related model with hard maple body. The SR924QM is a related model with quilted maple body. The SR924S is a related model with different pickups.

The SR924PD was discontinued after 1990.
