The SR895 is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1992. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.

The SR895 features a double-cutaway ash body bolted to a laminated SR5 maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a Gotoh 5-strings fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, and two IBZ AFR-J5 active pickup's channeled through a Vari-Mid 3band EQ, a plastic nut, gold hardware and Gotoh tuning machines.


The SR885 is a similar model with black hardware. The SR890 is a similar four string model.

The SR895 was discontinued after 1993.
