The SR886 is a six-string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1991. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.

The SR886 features a double-cutaway basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dots position markers. Components include a pair of 6 strings special pickup's on the neck and bridge positions, an Accu-cast B VI fixed bridge with 10.8mm string spacing, an EQ-B II 2-Band, gotoh machine heads and black hardware.

The SR06 is a similar model with golden hardware. The SR885 is a related five-string model.

The SR886 was discontinued after 1993.
