The SR885LE is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1989. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.

The SR885LE features a double-cutaway basswood body with arched top bolted to a laminated SR5 maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a special 5-strings fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, and two Ibanez LO-Z (regulated) active pickup's channeled through a EQ BⅡ 2-band, a plastic nut and Gotoh tuning machines.

The SR885LEL is a left-handed version. The SR885SM is a related model with mahogany body and saman top. The SR800LE is a related four-string model.

The SR885LE was discontinued after 1990 and replaced by the very similar SR885.
