The SR800 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2013. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.
The SR800 features a poplar burl top on a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a jatoba and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone oval position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair Bartolini® MK-1 pickup's on the neck and bridge positions, an Accu-cast B300 solid bridge with 19mm string spacing, aEQB-IIIS 3-band EQ with Mid frequency switch. Controls are volume, balance, treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut, mid boost/cut, 2 way mid frequency selector and gold hardware.
The SR805 and SR806 are five and six string versions. The SR750 is a similar model with a walnut top. The SR700 is a similar model with a figured maple top.
The SR800 was discontinued after 2017. It was replaced by the similar SR870.
