The SR800L is a left-handed Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1991. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.

The SR800L features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Lo-J/P (low-impedance) pickups, Accu-cast B-IV bridge, an EQ BⅡ equalizer, black hardware and Gotoh machine heads. Controls consist of a balancer, a volume, treble boost/cut, and bass boost/cut.

The SR800 is a standard version. The SR800F is a related fretless model.

The SR800L was only offered in 1992
