The SR800G is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1991. It was made in Japan.
The SR800G features a double cutaway basswood body bolted to a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets, with pearl dot inlays, and a matching headstock , Components are a pair of IBZ LO-Z J/P pickups on the front and the bridge, controls are 4 rubber knobs (volume, balance, treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut), Accu-cast B IV bridge, EQ BⅡ Equalizer, Gold hardware and Gotoh machine heads.
The SR800G was discontinued in 1992 after two years of production.
