The SR790 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1997. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.
The SR790 features a double-cutaway alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include an Accu-Cast B IV fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a pair of IBZ DXH double-coil pickups channeled to a EQB-3 band active EQ, a plastic nut, black hardware and Die-cast tuning machines.
