The SR755 is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2008. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.
The SR755 features a double-cutaway mahogany wings body with walnut top bolted to a SR5 jatoba and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone oval position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of Bartolini MK1-5 passive pickups with a Bartolini MK1 preamp with a 3-band EQ, an Accu-cast B25 fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a plastic nut, gold hardware and Ibanez die-cast tuning machine
For 2010 the preamp was changed to an Ibanez EQB-IIIS with 3-band EQ and 2-way mid-frequency selector and the bridge was changed to an Accu-cast B305.
The SR750 and SR756 are similar four and six string models.
