SR7100 Red copyright sprite

The SR7100 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1997. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.

The SR7100 features a double-cutaway maple body bolted to a SR maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone ovals position markers with "Custom Made" inlay at 24 fret and a matching headstock. Components include a Mono-rail bridge with D-tuner on the bass ("E") string and 19mm string spacing, and a pair of Bartolini humbucking pickups channeled through a Bartolini preamp with 3-band EQ, a plastic nut, gold hardware and deluxe Gotoh 510 tuning machines.

The SR7105 is a related five string model.

The SR7100 was offered only in 1997.
