The SR706 is a six-string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2008. It was produced in South Korea by Cor-Tek as part of the Standard line.
The SR706 features a double-cutaway mahogany wings body with figured maple top and figured maple center block bolted to a jatoba and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone oval position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of Bartoloni MK1-6 passive pickup's on the neck and bridge positions with a Bartolini MK1 preamp with a 3-band EQ, a B106 fixed bridge with 10.8mm string spacing, Die-cast machine heads and cosmo black hardware.
