The SR700 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2001. It was crafted in Japan by FujiGen.

The SR700 features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a maple SR4 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a black flat headstock. Components include a pair of Ibanez DX pickups with a P-style at the neck and a J-style in the bridge position, an Accu-cast fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines. Controls consist of a single volume, balancer, an EQB-III 3-band EQ with a mid-frequency toggle and treble, mid and bass controls.

The SR705 is a five string version.

This version of the SR700 was discontinued after 2003.
